TRANSLATOR (SEASONAL)
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced people to fill the above- mentioned vacancy that has risen within our organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure accurate and culturally appropriate communication between Chinese delegations’ members and tobacco processing factory personnel during their interactions.
Translation and transcription of between Chinese and English languages.
Assist communication between Chinese Staff, local employees, and other stakeholders.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality, professionalism and integrity when handling any work-related information.
Assist in Tobacco Processing Factory administrative work.
Perform various job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
First Degree in any related field
Exceptional command of Chinese/English languages in speaking, reading, and writing
Proven experience as a Translator in a professional environment.
Strong interpersonal and active listening skills.
Deep understanding of both local and Chinese cultures.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office package.
Ability to work flexible hours including night shifts and weekends.
Clean Class 4 Drivers’ Licence
Knowledge of the operations of the tobacco industry a distinct advantage
