POST: PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR – CLOTHING UNIT (X1)
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- At least a Diploma in Cutting and Design / Clothing and Fashion Design / Garment Technology or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in supervising production lines or teams in a clothing factory.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will report to the Production Manager and will be responsible for the following key duties:
- Supervising day-to-day operations on the production floor to ensure production targets are met.
- Monitoring staff performance, line output, and efficiency to ensure timely delivery of quality garments.
- Ensuring adherence to production schedules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality control standards.
- Supporting the implementation of health, safety, and environmental regulations in line with company and statutory requirements.
- Collaborating with the Quality Control team to resolve production issues and minimize downtime.
- Training and mentoring production line workers to improve skills and productivity.
- Keeping accurate records of production data, materials usage, and output reports.
- Ensuring cleanliness, organization, and discipline on the factory floor.
- Performing any other duties as assigned by the Production Manager or Executive Director.
