The following Vacancy has arisen within the City of Bulawayo:
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB SUMMARY
• Executes Environmental Health plans in the area of jurisdiction.
• Conducts inspections of trading and non-trading premises.
• Carries out disease surveillance.
• Investigates public health complaints.
• Conducts training and support of food handlers and community health groups.
• Conducts public health home visits.
• Identifies health concerns, conducts health and hygiene education sessions for target groups or populations.
Qualifications Requirements
• A National Diploma in Environmental Health or equivalent.
• Must be registered with Environmental Health Practitioner’s Council of Zimbabwe.
• A valid practising certificate.
• A clean class 4 driver’s license
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
• At least 2 years experience in a similar work environment.
• Computer literacy would be an added advantage.
