Job Description
Main Purpose of the Job:
The position is responsible for improving the quality of data generated by the district and facilities as well as ensuring that data are accurately entered and reported timely onto the program database and DATIM.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of district SIE/M&E activities for HIV programs.
- Assist the DM in managing district program resources for the organization.
- Support the roll out and implementation of a minimum package of SIE activities at facility level (standard SIE package)
- Support the reporting, data analysis and utilization of data at facility level.
- Support community level TB/HIV management activities
- Reporting, data quality, data analysis, and use for the program implementation.
- Manage the engagement and utilization of Data Entry Clerks
- Assist the DM in ensuring the timely submission of all administrative documents and reports (vehicle logbooks, asset verification checklists, petty cash certificates etc) in line with relevant SOPs.
- When need arise, help in transportation by driving JFK District program vehicle in and around the district of operation for the purposes of the program.
- Drive Kapnek District program vehicle outside the district of operation as may be assigned to fulfill the needs of the program.
Requirements
Functional skills and knowledge:
- Demonstrate working knowledge of quantitative data collection systems in the MoHCC, including familiarity with processes of strengthening district level M&E capacity, and data analysis using Advanced Excel, SAS, SPSS, STATA, Epi-Info, EpiData, or any other data analysis software.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience and demonstrated practical skills in monitoring HIV and AIDS, TB, care and support programs
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, and Health Sciences
- OR A degree in Information Systems/Information technology/Social Sciences plus at least 3 years M and E experience in PEPFAR clinical HIV programs
