What we expect from you.
- Execute and verify if End of Cycle batches or processes are executing correctly keeping track of start and end times to ensure systems availability within SLA limits.
- Resolve any EOC challenges timeously as per resolution and escalation procedures.
- Document all EOC challenges encountered through call logging and updating the EOC known errors database.
- Generate and check the correctness of reports during End of day processes and monitor progress for errors and capture errors to facilitate regeneration of all failed reports.
- Maintain all IT systems availability at SLA levels.
- Proactively perform capacity management activities on Data Center systems.
- Perform synchronization of database systems at regular intervals as per best practice to minimize data loss and inconsistencies.
- Resolve IT Service Desk calls and always maintain zero overdue calls.
- Prepare weekly and monthly update reports of any exceptions.
- Undertake any other duties, tasks, assignments, and projects as may be delegated/assigned by Management from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and experience required.
- A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- 5 Years’ experience of Computer Operations in a Data Center environment.
- Good Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.
- Knowledge of Banking Systems.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux Environments.
- Good Communication Skills.
- Ability to do shift work with night shift component.
