An exciting career opportunity has arisen for the role of Assistant Manager Fleet Control within the Group Administration Services – Logistics Division of CBZ Holdings. If you want to join a team of energetic and passionate professionals, this is your opportunity.
What we expect from you.
- Management of the Group Fleet Control room.
- Vehicle Booking System management.
- Advise senior management on recommended improvements in line with produced telematics reports.
- Carry out trip by trip fuel reconciliation for individual vehicles.
- Allocation of parking bays for management and pool vehicles.
- Ensure adequate parking arrangements for the group.
- Management of Airport transfers & consultant movements
- Selection of service provider for the fleet management strategies.
- Liaising with service providers in drawing SLAs/contracts for the functional areas where necessary.
- Track cost performance for Group Fleet, boats, and related equipment and implement corrective measures where necessary.
- Develop pricing models with suppliers to ensure predictability of supplier prices.
- Identifying areas for cost containment and implementation of cost containment strategies.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements Road Transport Act, EMA Act, Inland Waters Shipping Act, etc.
- Provide sound professional advice and guidance on all fleet management issues.
- Undertake any other duties, tasks, assignments as may be delegated/assigned by Management from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and experience required.
A bachelor’s degree in business / Logistics or Supply Chain related field.
3 years in an administrative environment
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent analytical and coordinating abilities.
Class 4 Driver’s license
