Position Summary

In this role you will be responsible to ensure smooth transport operations of finished goods from Nestle factories/co-packers to DC/buffer warehouses and deliver to customers. To monitor the 3PL transport performance to meet Nestle requirements with the customers satisfaction and cost efficient for the company.
A day in the life of a Warehouse Supervisor:
- Carry out daily distribution operation (both DC and transportation operation) to ensure the smoothen operation of inbound from factories/ co-packers to DC, inter DC and Factories transfer and outbound customer deliveries.
- Carry out day-to-day operations to ensure smooth flow of DC operation which include safe DC workplace and high stock accuracy.
- Stock Management:
- Ensure stock control and prevent loss by ensuring accurate recording in picking, warehouse movements and dispatching.
- Carry out daily Cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy by product, by bin location and by batch number.
- Ensure the efficient stock management in term of stock accuracy, product trace ability and stock freshness to comply with customer and business requirement, corporate policy and FEFO best practice.
- Ensure safety and GWP (Good Warehouse Practice) of warehouse are in line Nestle with requirements and standards.
- Monitor and review performance of warehouses and transportation service providers to improve performance and cost control.
- Efficiently manage Material Handling Equipment (MHE), logistics facilities and equipment by coordinating with concerned parties such as Distribution Manager, Purchasing and SC Manager.
- Closely monitor and track consignments to ensure that product is received by the intended recipient by obtaining and filing proof of deliveries for each consignment dispatched from the DC.
- Implement controls to ensure that all customer self-picks and self-collections of orders are validated and authorized.
- Process all Claims, Returns and Refusals.
- Provide and ensure relevant DC operation reports in order to manage the DC operation and inventory situation e.g., Aging report, Premium stock, Dispatch volume and space utilization etc.
- Coach, develop and maintain an effective team.
What will make you successful?
- University degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years experience in warehouse supervision.
- Experience in warehouse operations, transport operation and warehouse management systems.
- Knowledge of Material Handling, Distribution Operation, Management of 3rd party service providers.
- Strong organization, problem solving, and analytical skills.
