FULL TIME WARDEN (1 POST), RESIDENCES – ZVISHAVANE CAMPUS
JOB SUMMARY
The role of the Full Time Warden is to assist the Residence Coordinator in developing and implementing proper residential systems.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- A relevant first Degree in Social Sciences/Business Sciences/Arts and Humanities.
- At least 2 years’ relevant experience at a University/Tertiary Institution within Student Affairs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensuring that students’ residences are managed efficiently.
- Maintaining an environment that is conducive to study and learning within the students’ residences.
- Assisting the Residences Coordinator on the welfare and discipline of students.
- Compiling monthly reports for the Residences Coordinator.
- Liasion for Off-Campus Wardens and On-Campus Wardens.
- Stakeholder engagement with Off-Campus Landlords with regards to Off residence matters.
- Dispute resolution regarding Landlords and students residing Off-Campus.
- Responsible for the Off-Campus residence data base compilation and updates.
