TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Job description:
One of our clients a parastatal is looking to hire a qualified and experienced Training and Development Manage To coordinate training needs identification, design and delivery of training programs and evaluation of training and development issues of the organization.
Responsibilities:

Coordinates the organization’s training strategy

Coordinates training needs identification, development and implementation of training programs for the organization

Draws an overall or individualized training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations
-
Advises and liaises with managers as well as supervisors on how they can contribute to the training and development of their subordinates considering immediate and long-term staff requirements

Monitors and evaluates training programmes effectiveness, performance success and return on investment periodically and provides recommendations for improvement

Develops the annual training calendar for the organization

Contributes in the development of professional job competencies, multi-skilling and career development of staff in all the Departments consistently through skills analysis reviews to ensure availability of adequately skilled workforce

Works with third party consultants and professionals on how to improve in-house employee learning and development strategies and keeps a record of each training programme

Evaluates instructor performance and effectiveness
Qualifications:
- Degree in Human Resource Psychology or equivalent
- A training management certificate will be an added advantage
- At least 3 years experience in a senior Learning and Development role
- Parastatal experience will be an added advantage
