Job Summary
As Training Administrator, you will be responsible for updating and organizing an organization’s training programs for clerical, supervisory, technical, and lower-level management personnel. To ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees in the training academy.
In this position you will report to the Engineering and Facilities Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
- To co-ordinate Training and logistics to ensure effective running of the Training Department through recovered cost, administration, scheduled training, customer relation & SHEQ principles.
- Follow established procedures and guidelines to provide timely and effective support to an office, business unit, department, or organization group.
- Maintaining up-to-date, correct, and accurate training records, such as trainee lists, schedules, attendance sheets
- Manages the training logistics (booking of hotels, training rooms, sending information to participants, billing information)
- Process invoices and checks the invoices against orders.
- Respond to routine inquiries from external or internal sources about the organization, its activities or process so callers /or visitors are answered promptly and accurately.
- Make standard calculations to accurately compile and report statistics.
- Code and sort documents so they can be accurately processed or filed.
- Enter information accurately into documents such as reports, presentations, or forms; and office systems such as database or spreadsheet.
- Ensure implementation of The Sandvik Way within area of responsibility.
Your Profile:
- We are looking for someone with a tertiary level qualification in Business Administrations/ social science degree /diploma or any relevant program from a recognized certified institution and a minimum of 3 years working experience in administration.
- Administration experience is a must.
- Full physical & medical certificate to work in mining environment is a pre-requisite.
- Computer literate.
