VACANCY – TECHNICAL SUPPORT OFFICER
Equals Solutions is a FinTech company that provides digital consumer credit management solutions to institutions. The company offers a comprehensive set of automated, insight-driven services to help institutions achieve the digital transformation of the consumer credit management journey. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the Technical Support Officer post.

The Job
Reporting to the Customer Support Lead, the successful candidate will among other things be responsible for:
Driving and implementing the business operations function including the management of the reconciliations, processes, quality, system access and customer support.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide support and query resolution within agreed SLAs on matters pertaining to company wide operations.
  • Troubleshoot issues and outages.
  • Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
  • Interface with external and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery of technical solutions.
  • Build an internal base of technical documentation and manuals.
  • Facilitate the change requests for system enhancements for approval by senior management.
  • Propose and implement innovative tools to enhance operations and service delivery processes.

The Person
The ideal applicant should possess the following minimum qualifications and attributes:

  • BSc Hons in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years’ experience.
  • Experience in a Contact Centre, IT Help Desk, Support or similar.
  • Must have skills in problem analysis and solving.
  • Must have fluency in both oral and written English.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work shifts.
