Action for Youth Foundation Trust is a registered not-for-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for Youths Living with HIV, Orphans & Vulnerable Children and Key Population Communities in Zimbabwe.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Officer to provide technical guidance and support on economic strengthening and livelihoods programs.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide technical guidance on economic strengthening and livelihoods programs
– Develop and implement economic strengthening and livelihoods strategies and plans
– Support the design and implementation of vocational training and entrepreneurship programs
– Collaborate with stakeholders, including local authorities, partners, and communities
– Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards
– Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications and Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field
– At least 3 years of experience in economic strengthening, livelihoods, or a related field
– Experience working with youth, HIV, TB, or SRHR programs is an added advantage
– Strong knowledge of economic strengthening and livelihoods principles and practices
– Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
