Post A – Biomedical Digital Laboratory (1 Post)
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have a National Diploma in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent and at least one (1) year experience as a Laboratory Technician at a tertiary or academic institution or industry. A Higher National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree will be an added advantage.
Skills and Competences
Successful candidates should have a profound knowledge in embedded systems, computer networking, AI tools (machine learning). The candidate must possess good programming skills in various languages including embedded C and PYTHON, must have competence in MATLAB, PROTEUS, EAGLE, CAD and various simulators.
Post B – Physiology and Anatomy Laboratory (1 post)
Qualifications
Applicants should have at a National Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science, Applied Biology, Biochemistry or equivalent and at least one (1) year experience in a biological sciences laboratory, medical laboratory or related field. A Higher National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree will be an added advantage.
Skills and Competences
Successful candidates should have vast knowledge in human anatomy and physiology. The candidate must also be able to conduct practicals in microbiology and biochemistry, bioelectricity, biomaterials, biomechanics, tissue engineering. The candidate must be proficient in laboratory techniques, such as pipetting, centrifugation, electrophoresis and tissue culturing.
