TECHNICAL ASSISTANT (8 POSTS)
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate must be able to:
Ensure that Laboratories are well cleaned and maintained
Maintain and Clean Laboratory apparatus and equipment
Provide Distilled and de-ionized water for practicals
Assist in setting up of learning and teaching equipment in lecture venues
Collect Specimen
Assist Lecturers, Technicians and Students to conduct laboratory and field practicals, sampling and experiments
Requesting equipment for examinations
Carry out all Departmental photocopying
Carry out any other duties assigned by the Chairman
Qualifications and Experience
A minimum of 5 ‘O’ level passes at grade C or better including English Language and Mathematics.
Should have at least two (2) years working experience in a similar position or in a laboratory setup.
A driver’s license will be an added advantage
