The University seeks to recruit applicants with requisite qualifications, skills and experience for the following posts in the Information and Communication Technology Services Department
Qualifications :
Applicants must hold a degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or Electronic Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university at BSc level. Applicants should have at least 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience at the level of a Programmer or higher.
Skills :
The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms and be conversant with the full systems development life cycle.
Responsibilities :
He/she will lead the in-house software development and must be capable of designing and building enterprise-wide applications and databases that help the University to achieve its vision and mission. The incumbent must have excellent working knowledge of at least two of the following PHP, C#, JavaScript, JAVA, and Python. Must have thorough working knowledge of SQL Server database, Linux and experience in developing university-wide ERP systems. He/she must have good communication skills and leadership qualities.
