Job Description
Dalkeith Engineering is offering a student attachment opportunity in our Procurement Department. This is a great chance for students pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related fields to gain practical experience and apply theoretical concepts in a real-world setting.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the procurement team in day-to-day activities
- Participate in procurement processes, including sourcing, tendering, and contract management
- Conduct market research and analyze data to inform procurement decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement alignment with business needs
- Develop and maintain procurement records and documentation
Qualifications and Experience
- Currently pursuing a degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related fields
- Strong understanding of procurement principles and practices
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
