STORES CLERK : FINANCE UNIT (1 POST)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receiving of all incoming equipment, materials and supplies from the supplier community;
  • Physically checking the goods supplied if they are conforming to the specifications; and
  • Verifying supplier invoice if it is corresponding to the purchase order issued by the institution;
  • Raising the goods received note;
  • Issuing of equipment, materials and supplies to various departments and Regional Campuses;
  • Updating of inventory control records;
  • Recommending obsolete and redundant inventory items to be disposed; and
  • Participating in periodic stock takes;
  • Ensuring that the inventory section is clean and tidy at all the times;
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the Administration Officer, Stores.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • National Certificate/Diploma in Purchasing and Supply or Stores Management;
  • Five (5) ‘O’ levels including English Language; and
  • Two years relevant post qualification experience;

Candidates who do not have the stipulated requirements need not apply.
