POST: STORES ASSISTANT
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- A Degree in Accounting, Business Management, or Purchasing and Supply Chain Management is a must;
- At least two years of relevant post-qualification working experience is a must;
- Knowledge of Pastel (Sage 200 Evolution) is an added advantage
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing inventory through checking and verifying re-order levels;
- Initiate inventory purchase requisitions for stock replenishment purposes;
- Inspects and receives merchandise from suppliers;
- Maintain warehouses and ensuring orderly arrangement of inventories for easy retrieval when issuing;
- Issuing of inventory to user departments;
- Updating of Inventory management records;
- Performing inventory checks and balances on a daily basis;
- Conduct stock takes as directed ensuring a high-count accuracy;
- Filing all completed Stores Issue Notes and all GRVS
- Perform any other duties assigned;
