Reporting to the Inventory Management Officer, the successful candidate will monitor and maintain inventory levels by devising ways to optimise inventory control procedures ensuring adequacy of product stock for all user departments.
DUTIES
Monitoring and maintaining current inventory levels; processes requisitions as required; tracks orders and investigates problems.
Maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
Receives, unpacks delivered goods; and re-stocks items as necessary.
Processes and/or endorses Goods Received Vouches (GRV) for invoices payment.
Processes and documents returns as required following established procedures.
Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry and reports.
REQUIREMENTS
Diploma in Logistics /Supply Chain/CIPS or equivalent.
1 year experience.
Good interpersonal skills.
Team orientation.
Good communication skills.
Computer Literacy.
