Freda Rebecca Gold Mine has vacancies for Skills and Trainers who will be reporting to the Human Resources Manager in the Human Resources Department . The successful incumbents will provide Technical and Practical on the job training to Mining and Engineering
DUTIES
Monitoring the performance of Mining and Engineering Employees and identifying training gaps
Designing and implementing training programs
Developing and managing the training budgets
Developing training calendars
Conducting refresher courses for operators , miners and artisans
Conducting time and motion studies to assess capacity of equipment and assess operators performance
Participating in accident and incident investigations and reporting on root cause analysis and corrective prevention
Recommending training for mining and engineering personnel
Inspecting equipment and evaluating trainees
Generating weekly and monthly reports on training is conducted
Ensuring participants attend training
REQUIREMENTS
5 ordinary levels including English and Mathematics
Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ mining Engineering or equivalent
At least 4 years relevant experience as aTrainer
Train The Trainer Certificate of Competency or FETC/D
An IPMZ training diploma is an added advantage
Appreciation of ISO 14001 : 2015 AND ISO 45001 : 2018
CRITICAL OR TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
Good coaching and mentorship skills
Good industrial relations skills
Excellent critical and conceptual
Good interpersonal skills
Good presentation skills
Good report writing skills and computer literate
