Job Description
Other requirements:
- Experience in Payments Industry: Concepts, Applications, Technologies, Cryptography, PCI & general governance & Compliance
- Electronic Payment Solutions, Card data and EFT Banking processes
- Outstanding knowledge of Core banking support especially in the Channels space
- Knowledge of Postilion Switch banking support
- Knowledge of the ISO8583 messages
This role involves supporting the Postilion Real-time Framework, Office, Settlement engine configurations, Card Production Management System, Pos device configurations, Zim Switch Interface, VISA/Mastercard Gateway and the T24 Channels Interfaces. The incumbent will also be responsible with the support of SIT and UAT Development test systems including processes and procedure documentation.
- Expertise in the analysis, support of the Postilion Real-time Framework, Office, Settlement engine configurations and T24 Channels Interfaces.
- Investigating production related queries as raised by business or external parties.
- Test any new system releases / upgrades from Development or Service Providers
- Ensure that a testing schedule and procedure is available
- System Maintenance (Production and Test)
- Support of SIT &UAT and development processes.
- Document processes, procedures and technical specification as required
- Support of PCI and other ISO compliances within environments.
- Ensure that periodic tests are executed at the disaster recovery site
- Carry out Pos and other related Postilion configurations
- Automate monthly system reports for customers and management
- Responsible for recurring system changes in customer environments
- Provide a solid technical foundation to/across all of our customer environments
- Ensure that all incidents are logged and effectively managed, resolved and escalated if necessary
- Revision of technical documentation and specifications as part of the troubleshooting process and contributing to the Knowledgebase
Detailed investigation and analysis of incidents which might include, but is not limited to:
- Analysis using tools like SQL Profiler, Network sniffers and Windows Performance Monitor
- Writing and editing scripts or simple programs
- SQL and TSQL scripting to query and update database contents
- Windows OS skills advantageous
- Simulation of software faults also an added advantage
