About Us:
Action for Youth Foundation Trust is a registered not-for-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for youths living with HIV, Orphans, and vulnerable Children and Youths in Key Population Communities in Zimbabwe.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Programs Officer to provide strategic leadership and oversight to our programs department.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide technical guidance and support to Regional Coordinators and program staff
– Develop and implement program strategies and plans
– Oversee program implementation, monitoring, and evaluation
– Collaborate with stakeholders, including partners, donors, and government agencies
– Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards
– Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications and Experience:
– A Post-grads degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related field
– At least 3 years of experience in program management, coordination, or a related field
– Experience working with youth, HIV, TB, or SRHR programs is an added advantage
– Strong leadership, mentorship, and communication skills
– CPD Qualification in NGO Management is an added advantage
