About Us:
Action for Youth Foundation Trust is a registered not-for-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for Youths Living with HIV, Orphans & Vulnerable Children and Youths in Key Population Communities in Zimbabwe.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Officer to provide strategic leadership and oversight to our human resources department.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement human resources strategies and plans
– Oversee recruitment, selection, and hiring processes
– Manage employee relations, including performance management and disciplinary actions
– Develop and implement training and development programs
– Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
– Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications and Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field
– At least 3 years of experience in human resources management
– Experience working with NGOs or non-profit organizations is an added advantage
– Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations
– Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
– CPD Certification in Prevention of Sexual Exploitation & Abuse or equivalent is an added advantage
