About Us:
Action for Youth Foundation Trust is a registered not-for-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for Youths Living with HIV, Orphans & Vulnerable Children and Youths in Key Population Communities in Zimbabwe.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Finance Officer to provide technical leadership and oversight to our financial management activities on a volunteer basis.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide technical guidance and support on financial management
– Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting
– Manage and supervise financial transactions, including payments and receipts
– Ensure compliance with organizational financial policies and procedures
– Collaborate with stakeholders, including auditors, donors, and government agencies
– Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications and Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
– At least 3 years of experience in financial management
– Experience working with NGOs or non-profit organizations is an added advantage
– Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices
– Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
– CPD Qualification in ACCA is an added advantage
