Zimbabwe Power Company (ZPC) a subsidiary of ZESA HOLDINGS is the leading generator of electrical energy in Zimbabwe and supplies the bulk of the nation’s electrical power requirements from Its five power stations. The company is inviting suitably qualified, motivated and experienced staff to fill the above vacancy that has arisen in Zimbabwe Power Company.
This is a senior position reporting to the Finance Director. The position is strategic to the operations of the Company as it provides operational support and ensures that financial information is made available as a measure of financial success against business plans. The position also ensures the integrity of financial information as well as initiating and implementing controls that the business requires.

DUTIES
Production of timely and accurate monthly management accounts.
Financial planning, budgeting and reviews.
Manages cash flows and treasury operations.
Manages local and foreign creditors.
Oversees various reconciliations.
Develops trends and projections for firm’s finances.
Liaises and prepares all documents required by external and internal auditors and bankers.
Complies key business finance metrics and report on them weekly and monthly.
Oversees all payroll functions to ensure that the employees are paid timely.
Ensures that all statutory requirements are met including taxes.
Defines performance standards requirements and standards for the department.
Executes all activities in line with Integrated Management System requirements (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015).
REQUIREMENTS
5 0′ levels including Mathematics and English.
A Degree in Accountancy or Equivalent.
A Post Graduate qualification such as an MBL/ MBA or equivalent
Full membership of a recognized professional Institution.
8 years relevant experience of which 6 years should be at senior level
