JOB VACANCY: SENIOR CYBERSECURITY MANAGER

Job Description
- Develop and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives
- Implement and manage threat detection, prevention, and response mechanisms to safeguard Innbucks infrastructure and customer data
- Establish and enforce security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks in line with local and international financial security standards (eg. PCI DSS, ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Conduct regular security audits, penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks
- Lead the development and implementation of fraud detection and risk mitigation measures in our financial platforms
- Define and track key performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the cybersecurity programs
- Oversee incident response and disaster recovery planning, ensuring quick containment
and resolution of security threats. - Lead forensic Investigations into security Incidents to determine root causes and prevent recurrence
- Assess and manage cyber security risks associated with third-party vendors, partners, and service providers.
- Ensure third parties comply with the organization’s security standards and regulatory requirements
- Stay ahead of emerging cyber threats and evolving best practices, integrating Al-driven security solutions where applicable,
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders (regulators, Financial Institutions, security vendors) to ensure compliance and best-in-class security practices Train and mentor internal staff on cybersecurity awareness and risk management,
- Build and lead a high-performing cybersecurity team as the company scales
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION
Experience
- Proven track record (8+ years) in cybersecunty with at least 4 years in a leadership sole within banking, fintech, or financial services.
- Deep expertise in cloud security, network security, endpoint security, and application security,
- Strong knowledge of secunty frameworins, compitance regulations, and risk management (eg, NIST, OWASP, SOC 2, PCI DSS, ISO 27001).
- Experience with security operations (SIEM, IDS/IPS, trewalls, anti-malware, endpoint protection, threat Intelligence, IAM solutions).
- Hands-on experience with cyber threat hunting, forensics, and penetration testing.
- Strong understanding of blockchain, digital payments, and mobile money security is a plus.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation for security processes (Python, Bash PowerShell) is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take full ownership of the cybersecurity domain
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
