Vacancy Notice: Senior Credit Administrator–Harare Branch
A vibrant microfinance institution is seeking a results-driven Senior Credit Administrator.
The incumbent will be responsible for managing the branch’s operations, ensuring smooth daily functioning, achieving targets, and maintaining high customer service standards. The key responsibilities include supervising staff, managing credit risk, handling customer issues, compiling daily, weekly and monthly reports, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Supervising branch operations and administration.
• Generating new business through marketing, research, and sales initiatives
• Vetting clients and recommending appropriate loan products for the clients
• Maintaining closer customer contact and monitoring loan use, loan servicing, and progress as per the applicant’s business model
• Following up clients in arrears and updating relevant credit files and records
• Monitoring loan book performance
• Promptly and efficiently attending to all walk-in customer queries.
• Processing loan applications, verifying required documents, and making sure they are of the required standard and meeting time frames.
• Ensuring client details are captured correctly in the system
• Receiving and processing payments for all clients
• Balancing Cash Teller account, and updating bank balance tracker for cash received and paid out.
• Competition watching and providing regular feedback to management
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Banking, Finance, or other relevant qualification
• Be highly knowledgeable about Microfinance products and services
• Highly customer-focused
• Proven experience in a related industry
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer literacy
• Exceptional customer service skills
