Key Responsibilities
Summarize and prepare financial and transactions reports, including a profit and loss statement, and other necessary reports
Coordinating accounting functions and administration functions.
Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts.
Maintaining accurate files for Debtors / clients’ accounts including invoicing and attending to any queries.
Maintaining accurate file for suppliers / creditors and attending to any queries.
Reconciling debtors and creditors file.
Updating and maintaining facilities files for suppliers.
Assist with tax administration.
Processing e-manifest for company units and liase with Zimra for any related issues.
Perform intercompany reconciliations.
Qualification and Experience
Possess a degree in accounting or similar from a recognized and reputable tertiary institution or, studying and made significant progress towards any professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIS, CIMA
Have at least 3 years’ experience in an Accounting or related function.
Possess thorough knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Have excellent numeric and problem-solving skills.
Should be able to communicate effectively and present information in a clear and concise manner.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
Willing to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
Experience in transport and logistics industry is an added advantage.
