The Senior Accountant will be responsible with managing financial operations within a retail business. He /she will oversee all accounting processes, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and provide strategic insights to support business decisions.
DUTIES
- Oversee all financial reports for the organization
- Ensure the organization is in compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Supervise junior accountants and provide guidance on complex financial matters that may arise
- Have a strong collaboration with auditors and tax professionals for accurate financial assessments.
- Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial integrity
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong experience in financial reporting and retail accounting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with tight deadlines.
