The vacancy for the post of SECRETARY/ TREASURER has arisen in this organization. Applications from suitably qualified persons are invited to fill the above mentioned post.
Handling the financial transactions in accordance with the policy of the sub catchment council.
Keeping of the books of accounts in accordance with the policy and procedures.
Writing of all minutes and filling council documents.
Prepare and present annual budgets and monthly financial reports timeously.
Prepare monthly payments and tax returns.
Advise on council budget performance and funds inflows.
Receipting of the water users payments.
Prepare all receipts, vouchers and documents to support financial transactions.
Compilation of the asset register, correspondences and debtors list.
Prepare the bank reconciliation petty cash and cash books.
Ensure secretarial duties are done.
Higher National diploma in Accounts /Finance.
Degree in Accounts/Finance.
Possession of CIS/ACCA/SAA an added advantage.
At least 2 years of traceable work experience.
Work experience in similar environment is an added advantage.
Knowledge in accounting packages and software.
