Reporting to the Director of Finance the main purpose of the job is the day to day management of the Finance Director’s diary and the execution of broad secretarial duties of the department.
DUTIES
Maintaining files for the Finance Director’s office and facilitating movements of documents from the office to other departments.
Maintaining the Finance Director’s diary.
Typing letters and all correspondence forthe Director of Finance.
Maintaining effective communication between the Finance Director and various stakeholders.
Taking minutes in all departmental meetings
Preparation of responses to routine letters, invitations and memorandums.
REQUIREMENTS
An “0” level certificate with good passes in English and Mathematics/Accounts.
A minimum of a full Office Management/Secretarial diploma from a recognized institution.
At minimum of three (3 years’ experience as a Secretary/Personal Assistant to a Senior Manager.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
An Accounting qualification would be an added advantage
Knowledge of computer packages including word and excel is a must.
