Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill in the vacancy position which have arisen within the Harare Region Terrestrial Ecology Unit. The incumbent will be based at Chivero South Bank. The incumbent shall be reporting to Senior Ecologist Terrestrial.
Duties shall include the following: –
Assist to collect biological and environmental data and specimens for analysis,
Assist in data collating, synthesis, and analysis
Preparation of presentation material
Monitors wildlife number and habitat to ensure animals are nourished adequately
Maintenance of research tools and apparatus within the Unit
Assist in offering advise on caring capacities and possible off takes for hunting and live animal sales.
Qualifications and experience
The ideal incumbents should possess the following:-
Studying towards a Bsc in Wildlife management, Environmental Studies or equivalent,
Knowledge in MS word, excel, and/or Powerpoint a prerequisite
Strong interpersonal skills, professional, mature, and collaborative skills,
