Looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to take a leadership role at our growing Catholic
College in Bulawayo Metropolitan Province at St Augustine’s. This is a top-level day and boarding
Catholic private College building a sound academic, sporting and cultural tradition embedded in
the Catholic ethos.
Applications are invited from qualified candidates with at least 5 years of experience in a private
school with a proven track record of success and leadership roles. The preferred candidate should
be a strategic and contemporary leader with a commitment to grow with the College.
The role of the candidate:
• Upholding Catholic Ethos
• Work and report to the ZCBC Secretary General and the Board
• Developing the school’s vision and objectives
• Focus on key performance areas including academic performance, sports, culture, timetabling, and supervision of teaching and learning processes
• Overseeing discipline within the College both at staff and student level
• Positively market and promote the school
• Work with the estate manager and administrator on College programmes and projects
Key requirements:
• A suitable bachelor’s degree in Educational Leadership and a recognised teaching
qualification
• A post-grad in Educational Leadership or related.
• Relevant and appropriate experience within the field of education
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as leader of the team.
• Strong administrative and IT Skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Principled leadership style
