Key Responsibilities
- SaaS & Business Software Sales
• Promote Guava Africa’s SaaS platforms (ERP, CRM, business management tools) to SMEs, corporates, and fintechs.
• Tailor software packages for key sectors: retail, logistics, agriculture, and financial services.
• Collaborate with local developers to offer bundled, value-driven solutions. - Asset Tracking & IoT Solutions
• Drive sales of GPS and IoT-based asset tracking tools for logistics, mining, transport, and manufacturing clients.
• Structure efficiency-focused deals using real-time monitoring and analytics.
• Partner with telecoms to bundle connectivity with IoT device sales. - Productivity & Automation Tools
• Promote digitisation tools such as document management, accounting, and HR software.
• Target NGOs, government agencies, and corporates for process automation adoption.
• Develop affordable subscription models tailored to Zimbabwe’s market dynamics. - Cybersecurity & Endpoint Protection
• Position antivirus, firewall, and fraud prevention solutions to high-risk sectors like banking and fintech.
• Offer cybersecurity audits and training as value-added services.
• Partner with global vendors (e.g., Kaspersky, ESET, Palo Alto) for resale or white-label opportunities. - Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Growth
• Build alliances with Microsoft, Google, Zoho, and local tech hubs to expand reach.
• Engage IT integrators and MSPs to scale distribution across markets.
• Bundle technology solutions with Guava Africa’s fintech offerings (e.g., POS + inventory systems). - Market Intelligence & Revenue Growth
• Monitor trends in cloud adoption, AI, and IoT to enhance product strategy.
• Analyse competitors (e.g., Vaya Technologies, Dandemutande) to sharpen positioning.
• Exceed quarterly revenue targets through direct sales and partner channels.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Marketing, or Business Management from a recognized Zimbabwean institution (e.g. University of Zimbabwe, Midlands State University, NUST, Harare Institute of Technology, Africa University).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in B2B sales or business development in a technology-related field (SaaS, IT solutions, cloud services, IoT, or cybersecurity).
- Demonstrated success in managing sales pipelines, closing enterprise deals, and working with cross-functional teams.
- Certifications such as CIM, CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, AWS, or Google Cloud are an added advantage.
- A solid understanding of Zimbabwe’s ICT and digital finance landscape is preferred.
