A reputable company in the Mining sector is looking for a qualified and experienced candidate to fill in the position of SALES DIRECTOR who will be responsible for leading the sales team team to drive revenue growth, expand market share, build strong client relations, manage and oversee the logistics team.
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand the customer base.
Identify new business opportunities and market trends to drive growth and stay ahead of the competition
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing value-added solutions
Lead and mentor a sales team, providing guidance, support, and ongoing training to achieve sales objectives
Oversee sales operations, including forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as marketing, product development, and operations, to align sales strategies with business goals
Utilize effective B2B sales processes, negotiation techniques, and client relationship management to drive sales success
Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges
Analyze sales data and market insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
A relevant Masters Degree
Experience in sales with 4 years in a leadership or director role highly desirable
Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles
Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, negotiation techniques, and client relations management
