Role Overview:
As a Sales and Procurement Intern at Globtech Solutions, you will gain hands-on experience in both the sales and procurement functions. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills in sales strategies, vendor management, and procurement processes within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in generating sales leads and identifying new business opportunities.
• Support the sales team in creating and maintaining client relationships.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and potential areas for growth.
• Assist with the preparation and delivery of sales presentations and proposals.
• Help manage procurement processes, including sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of products and services.
• Support inventory management and stock control activities.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of procurement transactions and sales activities.
• Collaborate with various departments to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
• Participate in team meetings, providing insights and updates on ongoing projects.
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a degree program in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Strong interest in sales, procurement, and business development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Prior internship or work experience in sales or procurement is a plus but not required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer Literacy
