POSITION: SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER
GREENWOOD WHOLESALERS AND PHARMACIES IS SEEKING A HIGHLY MOTIVATED AND RESULTS-DRIVEN SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER TO JOIN THE TEAM.
THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE IS TO DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT STRATEGIES THAT ENHANCE THE COMPANY’S BRAND, INCREASE MARKET SHARE, AND EFFECTIVELY COMMUNICATE THE ORGANIZATION’S PRODUCT OFFERING TO VARIOUS STAKEHOLDERS FOR BOTH THE RETAIL AND WHOLESALE BUSINESS. THIS ROLE IS CRUCIAL FOR DRIVING BUSINESS GROWTH, FOSTERING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS, AND ENSURING CONSISTENT AND POSITIVE REPRESENTATION OF THE COMPANY’S MISSION AND GOALS
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- SALES AND MARKETING STRATEGY FORMULATION AND IMPLEMENTATION
- CAPACITATION OF THE SALES AND MARKETING TEAM FOR A SUCCESSFUL END-TO-END IMPLEMENTATION OF AGREED MARKETING PLANS AND STRATEGIES DEVELOPING AND MANAGING RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY CUSTOMERS
- COLLABORATING WITH KEY STAKEHOLDERS WITHIN THE GROUP AND EXTERNALLY IN RELATION TO SALES AND MARKETING FUNCTION.
- CONDUCTING MARKET RESEARCH AND/OR ECONOMIC AND COMMERCIAL SURVEYS TO IDENTIFY POTENTIAL MARKETS FOR PRODUCTS
- DIGITAL MARKETING STRATEGY FORMULATION AND IMPLEMENTATION
- SUSTAINABLE MARKET SHARE GROWTH
- PROFITABILITY GROWTH
- COST CONTAINMENT
- DEPARTMENTAL HUMAN RESOURCES PLANNING AND STRATEGY FORMULATION
- BRAND MANAGEMENT (AWARENESS AND VISIBILITY)
- DESIGNING AND IMPLEMENTING INNOVATIVE INITIATIVES THAT CREATE UNIQUE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCES, ENSURE RETENTION, AND CONTRIBUTE TO POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE CUSTOMERS AND THE BRAND.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

- MASTERS IN BUSINESS LEADERSHIP OR ADMINISTRATION IS A MUST
- BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN MARKETING, BRAND MANAGEMENT, OR RELATED FIELD.
- MINIMUM 5-7 YEARS OF PROGRESSIVE EXPERIENCE IN MARKETING, WITH AT LEAST 3 YEARS IN A LEADERSHIP ROLE IN A PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY, OR RELATED FIELD
- MULTI-CHANNEL MARKETING EXPERIENCE
- PROVEN TRACK RECORD OF DEVELOPING AND EXECUTING SUCCESSFUL MARKETING STRATEGIES
- PRODUCT LAUNCH EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE INTERNATIONAL PHARMACEUTICAL LANDSCAPE STRONG UNDERSTANDING OF DIGITAL MARKETING TECHNIQUES AND BEST PRACTICES EXCELLENT ANALYTICAL, PROBLEM-SOLVING, AND DECISION-MAKING SKILLS
- OUTSTANDING COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL ABILITIES
- PROFICIENCY IN MARKETING ANALYTICS TOOLS AND CRM SYSTEMS
- ABLE TO BUILD A TEAM AND MANAGE DIVERSITY IN THE TEAM
- POSSESSION OF A CLEAN CLASS 4 DRIVER’S LICENSE
