Position: SAFETY OFFICER
Reporting To: OPERATION EXECUTIVE

Job Purpose: Ensure compliance with OccupationalHealth and Safety (OHS) regulatory guidelines. Advise on safety measures, conduct risk assessments, enforce preventative measures and promote a safe workplace, providing training and investigating incidents to improve overall safety.

Job Specifications

 Ensure all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.
Ensure Probottlers meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety and welfare at work, including recommended mandatory training and reporting.
Co-ordinate the development of health & safety policies, systems of work and procedures.
Establish a structured programme of health & safety training throughout.
Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention in conjunction with external stakeholders and HR.
Keep up to date with all aspects of relevant health, safety & welfare at work and communicate relevant changes to stakeholders.
Conduct periodic plant hazard identification excise and propose corrective action.
Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions and recommend remedial action.
Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law.

Person Specifications

The candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:

3 years’ experience in a Safety Officer role,
BSc/BA in Safety management or a relevant field is preferred.
