Industrial Psychology Consultants (Pvt) Ltd has been contracted by Tobacco Industry and Marketing Board [TIMB] to assist with the recruitment and selection of a suitable candidate for the position of Risk Officer.
Overall Job Purpose
Develops and implements risk policies and procedures that align with the organization’s
goals and objectives.
Develops and updates checklists and registers lo identify, measure, monitor, and control risk exposures.
Carries out dipstick assessments in all departments in preparation for Audit/ Regulatory inspections
Analyses internal audit, fraud and loss reports, and incident reports to establish trends and recommend initiatives to mitigate risks identified.
Compiles risk reports on both internal and external developments and submits them to the CEO.
Takes a leading role in risk management processes involved in the development of new products and services, systems, and processes.
Provides advisory and consulting services to the TIMB Board and Management
Appraises the Risk Management Committee of the Board of progress every quarter
Provides feedback to the Risk Management Committee on the effectiveness of the Risk management department quarterly.
Reviews the risk management processes and align with prevailing local and international risk management standards.
Qualifications and Experience
Degree in Risk Management/Finance/Business Management
5 years relevant experience in a Risk Management or related position.
A valid drivers license is a must.
