A dynamic, fast growing furniture retail distribution company is seeking engage the services of a Retail and Operations to drive and manage the company’s overall operations, formulating strategy and setting goals for growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Overseeing day-to-day operations of the business.
Designing business strategy and setting targets for growth ensuring profitability.
Setting policies and processes.
Leading a team and ensuring they work productively and develop professionally.
Regularly reporting to upper management.
KEY COMPETENCIES
Good leadership skills and strategic thinking.
Team building and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication, collaboration and delegation skills.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
A business management related bachelor’s degree, a postgraduate degree will be an added advantage.
Experience in furniture retail industry is a must.
A good sales and marketing background.
Strong financial literacy and knowledge of financial services sector an added advantage.
Proven success in a managerial role.
Proven ability to develop and achieve financial plans.
