Our client within the hospitality industry is looking to recruit a Restaurant Manager to join their team as soon as possible. The ideal candidate must me the minimum requirements listed below and have the capability to execute the key responsibilities that follow.
Key Responsibilities
• Welcoming and sitting diners comfortably in the dining section
• Taking customers’ food and drink orders
• Collaborating with the kitchen and bar staff for prompt and correct delivery of orders
• Memorizing the menu and recommend appetizers, meals, and drinks from restaurant wine stock
• Delivering a memorable dining experience by resolving all customer issues promptly
• Setting tables and rearranging the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prepare the restaurant for special events
• Ensuring cooking utensils and kitchen area are cleaned after closing to comply with state regulations
Minimum Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years restaurant management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, such as personnel management, food planning, preparing, purchase, sanitation, health codes and security.
• Strong interpersonal and communication qualities.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage operating costs in accordance with budgets.
