POST: RESEARCH OFFICER (2 Posts)
Qualifications and Experience
- A first degree in Economics, Finance or in a Social Sciences such as Local Governance Studies, Public Administration, Political Science or Development Studies
- A Master’s degree in Economics, Finance or a Social Sciences area such as Local Governance Studies, Public Policy, Public Administration, Political Science or Development Studies
- Experience in carrying out research, grants proposal writing and management or consultancies will be an added advantage
Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparing research/grant proposals
- Conducting literature and database searches as required
- Collecting and analysing quantitative and qualitative data
- Contributing to research that supports innovation and industrialisation in public policy and governance
- Collaborating with stakeholders to integrate innovative practices and promote industrialisation
- Preparing reports and papers for meetings, seminars and publications
- Providing administrative support to researchers as required
- Contributing to the planning of future research projects
