POST: RESEARCH OFFICER (2 Posts)

Qualifications and Experience

  • A first degree in Economics, Finance or in a Social Sciences such as Local Governance Studies, Public Administration, Political Science or Development Studies
  • A Master’s degree in Economics, Finance or a Social Sciences area such as Local Governance Studies, Public Policy, Public Administration, Political Science or Development Studies
  • Experience in carrying out research, grants proposal writing and management or consultancies will be an added advantage

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparing research/grant proposals
  • Conducting literature and database searches as required
  • Collecting and analysing quantitative and qualitative data
  • Contributing to research that supports innovation and industrialisation in public policy and governance
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to integrate innovative practices and promote industrialisation
  • Preparing reports and papers for meetings, seminars and publications
  • Providing administrative support to researchers as required
  • Contributing to the planning of future research projects
