The applicant should be a holder of a Social Science degree or related area.
Possession of a relevant Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two (2) years relevant post qualification experience in a university set up.
The candidates should have capacity to work independently with minimal direction and collaboratively in a team environment, strong organizational skills, capacity to manage competing priorities and should demonstrate understanding of, and preparedness to commit to the innovation hub’s values.
The applicant should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good digital skills are a requirement.
Roles and Responsibilities
Providing administration services to the Innovation Hub.
Managing the projects database by project and timescale
Maintaining a database of current and planned resource allocation including staff time and financial resources.
Maintaining adequate records on all projects under incubation including accounts, tasks and timetables.
Providing administrative and secretarial support to the Directorate, and other innovators working under the innovation hub.
Maintaining a stakeholder/contacts database.
Liaising with other professional service providers, departments and units as required.
Efficient administration of the Directorate duties.
Management of Workshops, Seminars and Conferences.
