PRO VICE CHANCELLOR: INFRASTRUCTURE AND CAMPUS DEVELOPMENT 

Research Assistant:  One (1) Post

The Council of Midlands State University is inviting applications for the above stated post.

Academic Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s  degree in Law (LLB) with at least a 2:1 degree class or better
  • A Masters degree in Law will be an added advantage

Duties and Responsibilities

The incumbent will work under the direct supervision and guidance of the Pro-Vice Chancellor – Infrastructure and Campus Development and is expected to perform the following  duties and responsibilities:

  • Legal research on specific legal topics of interest to the African context
  • Drafting briefs and other legal documents
  • Analysing emerging legal issues
  • Grant proposal writing
  • Attending project meetings
  • Production of quarterly reports
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Pro-Vice Chancellor ICD
