Job description
An organization in the medical sector is looking for suitable candidates to fill in the position of Registrations Clerk. The position exists to register all healthcare service providers and maintain the registers database effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Receive enquiries from health service providers and responds accordingly.
Receive applications from health care service providers.
Verify documents to confirm if they are in line with what is required
Register service providers and healthcare institutions.
Send the documents on email to the health care providers
Inspect healthcare institutions in conjunction with the inspection team for accreditation purposes.
Participate in the decision-making process of grades
Update on a regular basis register by actioning changes of particular service providers as they come eg; change of address, name, deregistration and update members accordingly
Qualifications
Diploma in General Nursing or equivalent
At least 2 years experience in a similar position or equivalent
Relevant medical background
Highly computer literate
