Description
The Union Zimbabwe Trust is seeking a highly skilled Regional TB Technical Advisor to join our dynamic team to deliver on a new USAID 5-year funded Programme.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and support to the project regional teams, implementing partners, ensuring alignment with project workplan, national strategies and best practices.
- Strengthen the capacity of regional teams in TB diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and data management.
- Oversee the implementation of project activities, monitor progress towards achieving set objectives.
- Foster collaboration with key stakeholders, including provincial, district health teams, TB implementing partners and community-based organizations to enhance TB control efforts.
Qualifications
- Essential is an MBChB Degree and Post graduate qualification in Public Health or related field.
- At least 5 years’ experience in TB programme management, with a demonstratable experience in TB Case Management, TB/HIV, Childhood TB and TB Prevention.
- Strong technical skills in TB epidemiology, data analysis, and programme evaluation.
- Proven leadership abilities, excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working with the Ministry of Health and Child Care, National TB Programme will be an added advantage
