Action for Youth Foundation Trust
Reports to: Senior Programs Officer
Action for Youth Foundation Trust, a registered not-for-profit, non-governmental organization that creates a safe and conducive environment for Youths living with HIV, Orphans & Vulnerable Children and Youths in Key Population Communities in Zimbabwe is seeking to engage a Regional Coordinator to oversee program implementation, provide mentorship, and support to Programs Coordinators and Assistants.
Responsibilities:
– Provide guidance, support, and supervision to 4 Programs Coordinators and 4 Programs Assistants
– Review reports, provide feedback, and ensure timely submission
– Mentor and coach Programs Coordinators to enhance their skills and performance
– Facilitate training, workshops, and meetings to enhance program implementation
– Collaborate with stakeholders, including local authorities, partners, and communities
– Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards
– Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications and Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, or a related field
– Pursuing a Master’s degree in Social Work or Development Studies is preferred
– At least 2 years of experience in program management, coordination, or a related field
– Experience working with youth, HIV, TB, or SRHR programs is an added advantage
– Strong leadership, mentorship, and communication skills
– Youths under 30 years are encouraged to apply for this position.
