The National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe (NPAZ) is established in terms of
Section 258 of the Constitution of Zimbabwe. The institution mandated to institute
and undertake criminal prosecutions on behalf of the State.
Career opportunities have arisen in the NPAZ. Applications are invited from suitably
qualified and experienced persons to fill vacancies that have arisen in the Authority
in the following departments:
RECORDS AND INFORMATION ASSISTANT X 1
GRADE : P9
DUTY STATION : 1 x HEAD OFFICE
REPORTS TO : RECORDS AND INFORMATION OFFICER
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• A Diploma in Records and Information Management or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Registry processes and practices as well as the ability to capture data.
• Knowledge of storage and retrieval procedures.
• Knowledge and understanding of legislative frameworks governing the Public Service.
• Good communication and computer skills.
• Good planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Applicants must be 18 – 45 years of age.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Administration of incoming and outgoing correspondence.
• Administration and maintenance of files including receiving documents for disposal in terms of the National Archives Act
• Provide registry services and processing departmental mail in line with the applicable prescripts.
• Filing of documents.
• Any other duties assigned by the Records and Information Officer.
