A construction company based in Harare is urgently looking for a QUANTITY SURVEYING ATTACHEE who is ready to start work immediately. TITLE: Quantity Surveying Attachee
Job Description:
- Assist in taking final measurements of each and every site before the job commences
- Assist in preparing an estimate of materials required for all the jobs in aluminium and joinery department
- Assist in the preparation of B0Qs for ceilings, aluminium windows, aluminium doors, partitions, kitchens, shower cubicles etc
- Making sure that all quotations are attached in the scope of works
- Making sure that all drawings are signed by clients
- Responsible for taking jobs into production with the signatures of all the relevant heads
- Assist procurement/stores in ordering stores in ordering specific stocks
- Produce a material utilization report of each job
- Assist in planning of production process for jobs in the order book
- Manage WIP i.e ensure that all timelines and customer satisfactions are met
- Coordination with the stores team in making sure that the BOQ items are available and issued items tally with their BOQ

Qualifications:
- Studying towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
