A construction company based in Harare is urgently looking for a QUANTITY SURVEYING ATTACHEE who is ready to start work immediately. TITLE: Quantity Surveying Attachee

Job Description:

  • Assist in taking final measurements of each and every site before the job commences
  • Assist in preparing an estimate of materials required for all the jobs in aluminium and joinery department
  • Assist in the preparation of B0Qs for ceilings, aluminium windows, aluminium doors, partitions, kitchens, shower cubicles etc
  • Making sure that all quotations are attached in the scope of works
  • Making sure that all drawings are signed by clients
  • Responsible for taking jobs into production with the signatures of all the relevant heads
  • Assist procurement/stores in ordering stores in ordering specific stocks
  • Produce a material utilization report of each job
  • Assist in planning of production process for jobs in the order book
  • Manage WIP i.e ensure that all timelines and customer satisfactions are met
  • Coordination with the stores team in making sure that the BOQ items are available and issued items tally with their BOQ

Skills Required:

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Studying towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
