We are inviting suitably qualified candidates to fill the following position:
Quality Control Analyst
The candidate should be able to do the following:
DUTIES
1. Conduct Analytical Method development.
2. Validate methods developed.
3. Verify methods developed and compendial methods.
4. Routine analysis of intermediates and finished pharmaceutical products.
5. Managing the stability program and making sure samples are charged and withdrawn within stipulated time frame.
6. Monitor stability conditions on a daily basis.
7. Report any excursion on stability chamber conditions.
8. Conduct stability testing and generate monthly stability reports.
9. Generate stability protocols for all products under stabilitystudy.
10. Conduct Biowaver studies.
11. Calibration of equipment in the Lab.
12. Documentation (SOP generation & updating, report writing etc)
13. Analysis of raw materials and packaging materials.
14. Prepare and standardize test solutions and volumetric solutions.
15. Operation of HPLC, UV-Vis Spectroscopy, Viscometer, Disintegration tester, Hardness tester and other Lab equipment.
Requirements and Skills
First degree in Applied Chemistry/ Biochemistry.
At least 1 year post-attachment experience working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation
Excellent communication and writing skills
Well organised and able to work with tight deadlines
